Restorative Justice: Building Consensus in Theory and Practice

The conference follows an announcement by Minister of State for Prisons and Youth Justice that Coalition Government is committed to expanding the use of restorative interventions within the criminal justice system. Organisers welcome papers from academics, postgraduate researchers, policymakers, and restorative justice practitioners based on the statutory and community sectors. We are particularly interested in papers that reflect theoretical and/or practical content and that relate to local, national and European programmes. Proposals for papers should be sent either to Jonathan Doak or to David O'Mahony before 31 January, 2011.
