I assume that you’re on this page because you will be joining us in Durham this coming October…In which case, a very warm welcome from everyone here at CathSoc – we look forward to meeting you :)

Throughout the term we organise a wide variety of events so there will be many opportunities to become an active member of the society and enrich your faith. In addition to our regular termly Events there will be a number of special events for newcomers so that you can get to know each other.

• Most importantly, the first student mass of term will be the 7th October 2012, 6:30pm at St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Church. Obviously, we’re not expecting you to find your way around Durham straight away, so your College Rep will be waiting in your college reception ready to lead people down to church. This is the perfect way to start off the year, and after mass there will be a chance to meet fellow students over nibbles and refreshments in the Parish room.

• If you are arriving in College on Saturday 30th September, you are welcome to come to 10am Mass on Sunday morning – there will be someone from CathSoc at the DSU in yellow and purple attire to meet you . Not sure where to go? Email your President
