Rebecca Hamilton

As the D.S.U. Representative, it is my job to act on behalf of Castle M.C.R. at Durham Students’ Union meetings. I act as a ‘go-between’, liaising with the M.C.R. Exec and D.S.U. Reps from other Colleges and the D.S.U. President. I am the the M.C.R.’s voice on the concerns of postgraduate students at a wider University level, making sure the wishes of M.C.R. members are known to the D.S.U. and the University.

Mission Statement

Aiming to ensure the postgrad students are not forgotten in the Students Union this year! We're paying for the services, and deserve the support from the university! I want to concentrate especially on ensuring high standards are maintained in postgrad accommodation – both Brackenbury and in advising on external accommodation.

I've previously been a course rep and I'm currently assisting the Student Development Committee in the organisation of my chosen discipline. Got any questions, find me on facebook or drop me an email!
