The M.C.R. (Middle Common Room) of University College exists primarily to integrate graduates into Castle, to represent their concerns and defend their interests effectively, and to provide somewhere for them to meet and make merry.

Throughout the year, the M.C.R. Exec. will co-ordinate various social activities. Current suggestions include an evening cross-common room debate, a wine tasting event, paint-balling and go-karting, a trip to Newcastle in addition to numerous port and cheese evenings and film nights.
