Careers, Employability and Enterprise Centre

Events service

The Careers, Employability and Enterprise Centre is responsible for the provision and facilitation of a wide range of employer and career presentations, workshops and events. Details of forthcoming events can be found in the online 'Events' diary. It is advisable to reserve online, where appropriate, a place on any sessions that interest you. During Michaelmas and Epiphany terms a weekly email bulletin, summarising the most immediate events, is sent out to students.

Event information

The event diary and booking service is only available to students at Durham University. You will need your CIS user name and password to proceed (select 'Browse Events'). The events diary will enable you to see what events are taking place every term and who will be delivering individual events. The majority of events are delivered by employers or the Careers Centre. When you click on a specific event you will access more detailed information about the nature of the event in addition to booking information. Usually you will be able to book a place at an event online but occasionally you may be asked to contact us or an employer directly. Events are very popular and some can be oversubscribed. Consequently we do kindly ask that you attend any events that you have booked a place on; if you are unable to attend, or you decide not to attend, please cancel your booking.
