Interview and assessment centre feedback
Information on employer selection procedures can be accessed using the Interview and assessment centre feedback database. The information has been provided by Durham students based on their personal experiences of interviews and assessment centres. The database can be searched by employer name, job sector and year. In order to maximise the value of this resource we would like to encourage all students to share their interview experiences (see below for further information).
Disclaimer
Please note that the information in the database is the subjective opinion of individuals following an interview or assessment centre experience. The Careers Centre does not take responsibility for the accuracy, or otherwise, of the information provided. The available information is not necessarily representative of current recruitment practice: student feedback is not released until the following academic year when the graduate recruitment process begins again. Please be aware that employers change their assessment and interviewing processes on an ongoing basis: the information available here should be used with caution and only as an aid to interview preparation. The information provided in the Interview and assessment centre feedback database is for reference use only and should not be reproduced, repurposed or made available for onward distribution.
Take down policy
It is out policy that if we recieve any justifiable complaint about any entry in the Interview and assessment centre feedback database, that we will take the down the report straight away and appropriate CEEC staff will investigate this further.
It's good to share!
Interviews and assessment centres are challenging and preparation is the key to success. As a careers service we are keen to draw upon the experiences that you have had of the selection processes used by employers in respect of graduate jobs and internships. If you are willing to share your experiences with other Durham students then we would be delighted to hear from you. You can record your experiences using our online interview and assessment centre feedback form (click on 'Employer Selection Procedures' and then click on 'Form'; CIS username and password required). The feedback that you provide will be anonymous and, as it will be released on a staggered basis the following academic year, it will not be available to your immediate peers. If you would prefer the embargo period to be longer than the following academic year, and you have justifiable reasons to back this request up, please write those reasons in the 'Additional Comments' section of the form and consideration will be given to this. The information that you provide will contribute to a searchable database that will support existing Durham students as they prepare for forthcoming interviews.
