Key closing dates

The closing dates for graduate schemes vary between between sectors and employers. A significant number of employers begin the recruitment process very early in your final year of study and consequently closing dates can be as early as October/November, particularly in the banking sector. It is impossible to relay every closing date (refer to company websites as the primary source of information but also Prospects and Grad Diary); as a starting point please find below the closing dates for application to the graduate schemes offered by the top 20 graduate employers (as identified by The Times). It is also important to remember, if you are a penultimate year student, that internships are increasingly used by companies as a means of recruiting graduate trainees. Internships are normally advertised in Epiphany term (January and February) but some organisations do advertise significantly earlier (November and December).
