Butler Bar
This will be your main social building besides your kitchen. It is the largest college bar in the university and is a great place to come in the evenings to relax on the comfy furniture. It has a gaming area where you can find table football along with darts and pool tables. We have SKY 3D for watching the Rugby World Cup as well as many other matches. We also have a large stage which is regularly used for events such as open-mic nights, dance performances, talks and much more…

Butler Coffee Shop
During the day the bar turns into a coffee shop with our college library. You can use it as a place to work or bring a laptop to use the wireless internet. The coffee shop can supply you with tea, coffee and cake, and we offer a range of freshly made sandwiches, paninis and baked potatoes. The coffee shop is open 11am – 6pm daily, and the library is open until 7pm.
College Offices
Alongside the bar you can find a corridor where all the college staff have their offices. First is reception where you can find the Porter 24-7. They can help you out if you have locked yourself out of your room, if there is no hot water, if you want to collect a parcel and for many other useful things. Further down the corridor is the college secretary, admissions secretaries, College Officers followed by the Senior Common Room.
On the other side of the building you will find the JCR Office, speak to them if you want to buy stash, join a sports team or society. The finance officer can also be found on this corridor. If you have any queries about finances or when you need to pay your college bill this is the place to go. We have an ITS Suite which can be used 24-7. There is a laser printer and also a very large screen for practicing presentations. Finally, at the end of the corridor you will come to the JCR and MCR lounges.
MCR Lounge
MCR members are invited to use this room whenever you please. There is a TV, DVD player, Wii, music system and comfy leather sofas and of course the requisite plant life…. There is also discussion about setting up an honour bar as well! Any other ideas about decoration of this room are warmly recieved.
