As well as formals, once a term we have a Ball or Mega-formal. We have the Winter Ball in Michaelmas term, a Valentines Mega-formal in Epiphany term and the Summer Ball in Easter term. These are a chance to dress up smartly and enjoy a good meal and a night of fantastic entertainment.
The Winter Ball is held on the college grounds and students enjoy great music, ents such as Victorian swing boats and loads more. The even more lavish Summer Ball is held at the prestigious Hardwick hall, with fabulous food, loads of ents and brilliant bands and performers . The Balls are really, really fantastic parties and well worth getting a ticket for even though it can often mean waking up absurdly early to go and queue for hours to get one…
