Open Mic Night tonight! Have a drink, catch up with anyone you've not seen in the first week back and enjoy the dulcet tones of various brilliant butler musicians!

Come and strut your stuff at tomorrow Open Mic Night from 8:30pm. All abilities welcome – we’re a good crowd so no fears! 

Our inaugural comedy night takes place tonight(Friday 9th) as 'Just Desserts' sketch group take centre stage at 8pm sharp before the clash of the titans commences. Durham Improv Soc vs Bangor Improv Soc fight it out for your laughs and giggles!! A great night in store.

Come along to the Bar on Friday 9th March for this exciting event in Butler Bar, celebrating the international nature of our College and student body. The event is for EVERYBODY!!! The party is to mark Holi, the Indian Festival of Colours. Come to the Bar and party till 2am! Starts at 9pm, after the STAB play, Chatroom.  See you on Friday!

After heading down to see the fireworks on Saturday evening, what better way to continue the night than coming back up to Butler Bar for a cosy evening of winter warmth featuring Mulled Wine and Roasted Chestnuts! Don't miss out on the return of one of last year's best bar nights!

There are sure to be some firm favourites as well as some new faces, so if you know anyone who wants to show off or give it a go then please encourage them to come along.

Open Mic night in Butler Bar all this evening, take a stand and show your talents or simply enjoy some good quality music and a great atmosphere, all welcome to play.

New products launched this evening- WKD and Smirnoff Ice will be stocked, along with the Smirnoff Flavoured Vodkas (Lemon, Lime and Blueberry). We'll also be offering Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger Beer, Newcastle Brown Ale, J20s, and Corky's Pot-Tails, a cocktail in a tea pot!

The Six Nations kicks off tonight with England vs Wales, live in the bar from 7.45pm.

There are free tickets to be won to Six Nations matches when you buy a drink via cards behind the bar- see bar staff for details- we're also giving away a free Snowboard, free entry in the bar every day, the winner will be picked out at the end of the term.

Kitchen open all day from 12pm, grab yourself some food and drink and get behind your nation!
