Just been alerted that the JCR Website login server is playing up again, so the sign-up for Newcastle and Flamingo Land will be done BY EMAIL again. Email sian.daniel@durham.ac.uk from 7pm onwards; same rules apply as always (max 4 per person) and places will allocated in the order the emails come in. Arts Competition Results
Massive thanks to everybody who entered the Arts Competition 2013. The standard of entries was incredibly high this year and the judges had a very tough job in choosing their winners. Every single entry was truly amazing, so you should all feel very proud of yourselves!
We did, however, have to pick three winners, so huge congratulations go to:

Film-Making Competition
Don't forget - the Film-Making branch of the competition has been extended due to a low number of entries. Send your entries to sian.daniel@durham.ac.uk by Friday 22nd February for your chance to win a Kodak Play Sport Waterproof Video Camera. Good luck to all!
Inter-Collegiate Energy Competition
Throughout Epiphany Term 2013, colleges will compete to reduce their energy consumption.
Each college's electricity usage will be recorded weekly and compared to its electricity usage in the first week of term. The college which achieves the best improvement will be declared the winner and will win £500 for its JCR.
Be sure to do your bit by switching off all non-essential equipment, setting your computer to hibernate after 15 minutes and turning off all non-essential lighting.
