Biography
My broad research interest is in the field of ultracold quantum gases and the manipulation of atomic scattering properties using magnetic Feshbach resonances. My current research focuses on the production of Bose-Einstein condensates with tunable atomic interactions and their application in the study of bright matter-wave solitons. These self-stabilizing wave packets are well localized due to attractive atom-atom interactions and hence show great potential as surface probes for the study of shortrange atom-surface interactions.
