Affectionately known as BCBC by its 90 members, fearfully nicknamed 'China' by the other Durham Colleges, we are very proud to welcome you to Butler College Boat Club's brand new website! BCBC is the baby of all the college boat clubs, being only 4 years old! But that hasn't stopped us achieving some incredible achievements during the 2008/09 season. Our women's first squad has won or come runner up in every event entered last year, winning some hard earned and much loved pots for the club. And our men's squad are definitely the ones to watch during the up coming winter season! One of the biggest challenges our boatclub faces is a lack of equipment and a boathouse. With our huge membership its getting more difficult so if you have any fundraising ideas or sponsorship opportunities please please see the sponsorship section!
