(26 March 2012)
Durham Business School MBA alumna, Kerryann Ifill, has made history in Barbados by becoming the first woman, first disabled person and the youngest person (at 38 years old) to be elected to the position of President of the Senate.
Kerryann, or 'Madame President' as she is now known, began losing her sight at the age of four and half, however with much grit and determination she continues to pursue her education.
