Durham Business School alumna makes history

Durham Business School MBA alumna, Kerryann Ifill, has made history in Barbados by becoming the first woman, first disabled person and the youngest person (at 38 years old) to be elected to the position of President of the Senate.

Kerryann, or 'Madame President' as she is now known, began losing her sight at the age of four and half, however with much grit and determination she continues to pursue her education. Already having obtained an MBA from Durham, she intends to continue her studies and is considering a masters in counselling people with disabilities.
