Full-time MBA Scholarship on offer at Durham Business School

(2 April 2012)

Durham Business School is pleased to invite applications for the Durham MBA/Independent Scholarship 2012.

Offered in collaboration with the Independent newspaper, this scholarship is open to applicants to the full-time MBA programme (to begin study in September 2012) and covers programme fees.

Earlier this year successful applicants were selected to receive scholarship awards, one for the School's Executive MBA Programme and one for its Global MBA Programme.

David Beeton, a consultant from Newcastle on Tyne, joined the Executive MBA programme in January, whilst David Makepeace, an Advisor for a specialist humanitarian supply chain and procurement service currently based in Spain, has begun his studeies via the School's Global Learning Centre (distance learning mode).

Rob Dixon, Dean of the School, said: "We are extremely pleased to be able to work with the Independent to award this scholarship.

"This type of provision will further ensure our students have the opportunity to experience a first class learning environment in which to sharpen their business skills and knowledge. Financial support such as this is particularly important given these difficult economic times."

To be considered for the DBS/Independent MBA Scholarship you must have completed the programme application process in full, and hold a programme unconditional offer, by the deadline of 6 June 2012.
