International Guild of Bankers shows DBS students the ropes

In April, with the help of the International Guild of Bankers, a group of 28 Durham Business School MBA and MSc students and staff visited a number of key financial organisations within the City of London.

Barclays Capital, Lloyds of London and the Bank of England all hosted events and introduced their businesses, as well as providing an opportunity to meet up employees of theirs who are Durham Alumni. The MBA students were also invited to attend the Institute of Directors Conference at the Royal Albert Hall and witnessed some inspiring speakers from within the Business World. The 2 day trip further developed the School's existing partnership with the Guild of International Bankers .
