University celebrates 175th anniversary

2007 marks Durham University's 175th anniversary - an opportunity to reflect on an illustrious history, to celebrate achievements, and look to the future.
The occasion will be marked in a variety of ways, including a week-long series of events in Stockton to celebrate the development of Queen's Campus, a special Honorary Degree ceremony in the summer, and the publication of the first history of Durham University.
