Durham Business School Emeritus Professor Contributes to the Graham Committee Enquiry

In his role as Chairman of the City of Durham Standards Committee, Emeritus Professor Richard Chapman was invited to give oral evidence on 15 June 2004 to the Committee on Standards in Public Life.

Set up in 1994 by the then Prime Minister, John Major, the Committee’s terms of reference are: To examine current concerns about standards of conduct of all holders of public office, including arrangments relating to financial and commercial activities, and make recommendations which might be required to ensure the highest standards if propriety in public life.
