Agility: Making Innovation and Change Happen

(5 October 2011)

Durham Business School academic Colin Ashurst's recently published book: Agility: Making Innovation and Change Happen provides a practical framework and toolkit for realising benefits from IT-enabled innovation and change. It is aimed primarily at a professional audience.

It draws on Colin’s professional experience and a programme of research starting with his PhD.

The ideas have been tested out through research, teaching programmes at Durham Business School, and most recently as part of an action research project with the IT Director and IT function at Newcastle University.
The action research was funded by a £73k grant from the Leadership, Governance and Management fund of HEFCE. Outputs from the research project are available at http://research.ncl.ac.uk/transform/.

The book is available from www.amazon.co.uk as well as an ebook for Kindle at www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005LG41G2.

NOTE: All proceeds from the book will be donated to Traidcraft Exchange and in addition to the Kindle device, a Kindle application is available for PC, Mac, and iPad.
