The Global MBA (Finance)

Designed to give a more specialist grounding in key aspects of financial management and accounting, we've developed the Global MBA (Finance) option that builds on Durham’s world-renowned research strengths in these areas.

Students undertaking our specialist Finance pathway complete the core modules of the Global MBA programme. Upon completion of the core modules, the following electives are taken:

• Corporate Finance
• Financial Planning and Control
• Financial Risk Management
• Two further elective modules from the Global MBA
• Methods of Inquiry

On completion of the above, students proceed to undertake a Business Project (dissertation) on an approved finance-related topic.

The Global MBA (Finance) may be studied either entirely online, with no attendance requirements, or via the standard blended-learning pathway.
