Durham Alumni Scholarship
We are pleased to be able to offer a £5000 scholarship to all Durham alumni who join the Full-Time MBA. (Please note that this will replace any other Business School scholarship or Early Bird Discount.)

UK Applicants

  • Career Development Loans
    Helps individuals pay for vocational education or training by offering a deferred repayment bank loan. Available for full-time, part-time or distance learning programmes. Further details available at www.lifelonglearning.co.uk/cdl or by telephoning 0800 585 505.
  • Learning and Skills Council (LSC) (Part-Time students only)
    European funding is sometimes available for candidates currently employed in Small to Medium Enterprises or for the unemployed. Funding varies each year so contact your local LSC for further details.
  • Bank Study Loan
    Some high street banks offer professional trainee/study loans where repayment is not requested until after you have completed your course. For more information, contact the banks direct.

Overseas Applicants

  • China
    Overseas study loans may be available through the Pudong Development Bank. Please check direct with the bank for further information: http://www.spdb.com.cn/
  • British Council
    Can provide details of scholarships available in your own country. Please see: http://www.britishcouncil.org/.
  • Ministry of Education / Education Department
    Your local Ministry of Education may be able to provide details of funding available in your country.
  • Caribbean MBA
    For applicants to the Durham Caribbean MBA, loan schemes are available from the Barbados National Bank.

  • US - Federal Stafford bank loans
    Business Education Loan - available to US citizens and international students, who have a US citizen or permanent resident, co-signer.
