 The following pages are designed to provide information regarding the University's approach to assurance governance, risk management, fraud response and value for money.

The Business Assurance Service is just that, a service to the University. As part of our commitment to continuing professional and service development we have set ourselves a mission. Our mission is:

'Delivery of the higher education sector's leading internal audit service providing strategic, risk based assurance to the University's management team, allied with ongoing consultancy support and advice aligned to the University's strategy to deliver an opinion of unquestionable quality.' 

Our mission statement informs our Strategic and Annual Assurance Plans. The evaluation of our success in achieving this mission through effective delivery of our assurance plans is structured around our BAS performance measurement framework.
