Traditional Crafts Weekend

Silversmith Les Howe and his wife Vivienne, an artist and card designer, will be demonstrating their skills in the garden. Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th May, 10am - 4pm.

Greenwood Working Event

Local green wood worker Chris Helliwell will be in the garden. He will be demonstrating and giving people a chance to try a pole lathe and shave horse.This event is kindly funded by the 'Friends of the Garden'.

Mini Games at the Garden

Gather your team and take part in a fun day of mini competitions at the garden. Egg and spoon, sack race - all the favourites will be there.Teams of 4 required. Minimum age 5. 2 adults over 18 per team minimum.

Flowermen Art Exhibition by Liz Sparks
Thursday 1st November 2012 every day until Friday 30th November 2012, 10:00am - 4:00pm, Botanic Garden

Liz Sparks is a Nottinghamshire based artist with a degree in Fine Art from Sheffield Hallam University and City and Guilds Certificate in Constructed Textiles for which she was nominated for a gold award of excellence in 2011. Her work explores the physicality of the human body, its relationship to our environment and the tension of the dynamic between the two.
