Welcome to our visitor centre
The Visitor Centre was opened in 1988 by Dame Margot Fonteyn de Arias the then Chancellor of the University. The visitor centre has a coffee shop which offers a wide selection of hot and cold drinks, light snacks and an extensive range of gifts and souvenirs. During the year, the centre is the venue for talks and seminars on a variety of horticultural subjects, and a showcase for the work of local artists and photographers. There is a policy of no dogs in the garden, however assistance dogs are welcome and dog bowls can be obtained from the cafe.
