Impact Acceleration Account (IAA)
IAA have been established to make it easier for university research to find a pathway to making an impact on the economy and society at large

Impact Acceleration Accounts have been established to make it easier for university research to find a pathway to making an impact on the economy and society at large. The funding provides a bridge between the outputs of EPSRC funded research and later commercialisation activities. It offers a range of funding streams with which both transformational and incremental activities can be undertaken.
The funding is available through the following four streams:
- Knoweldge Transfer Secondments
- Follow-On Technology Conditioning Programmes
- Seedcorn Funds
- Building Bridges Awards
The research we support is recognised as outstanding on the international stage. These Accounts aim to make a step change in the impact that has on society
