The School aims for excellence in teaching and research across a wide range of bioscience; from the molecular biology of plants and human genetic disease to the population biology of whales. We were ranked the 5th best Biological Sciences Department in the UK in the 2010 Complete University Guide.
We are located in modern buildings with state-of-the-art research facilities in the beautiful wooded Mountjoy Park above the main University Science Site.
