I am Bindi Chen, a PhD student in School of Engineering and Computing Science. I start my PhD in January 2011. My supervisor are Prof. Peter Tavner and Dr. William Song.

I am working on Energy Group and Innovative Computing Group. My research is about Knowledge-based system for large-scale offshore wind farm, and the early wind turbine failure detection.

My research involves:
1. Artifical Intelligence (Neural Network and Self-organizing feature mapping)
2. Data mining
3. Knowledge-based system (Knowledge representation or expert system)
4. Fault diagnosis and prognosis
