Centre for Social Justice and Community Action

Mapping children, young people and adults from Black and minority ethnic backgrounds in the NE region

Funded by the Ministry of Justice, this 6 month project is led by Professors Gary Craig and Maggie O 'Neill (Centre for Social Justice and Community Action, Durham University) and also involves the collaboration of Drs Rowe and Cole (Northumbria University) and Dr Antonopoulos (Teesside University). The aim of the study is to map, in both qualitative and quantitative ways, the BME population in the region and the social and economic issues that it faces.
