On Thursday lunchtimes, from 1:00pm to 2pm, a guest lecturer comes to the Physics Department conference room to give a brief talk on one of several subject areas right at the forefront of physics research.

These talks involve a very wide variety of topics being discussed. Speakers include notable Durham researchers as well as those from different Universities.
