Phase II - Seeking infertility treatment

In Phase II, a smaller sample of 30-40 British Pakistani women/couples living on Teesside who have sought, or are currently seeking, medical treatment for infertility will be interviewed. The interviews will be semi-structured and in-depth and aim to elicit people's own understandings, perceptions, and practice regarding infertility and its treatment. Where the participants agree, follow-up interviews will be conducted. During Phase II, we will also interview community and religious leaders, health professionals and staff from other relevant agencies.

Data collection for Phase II is ongoing.
