The world's oldest mother of quads told today how the babies brought joy at the end of a ten-year struggle to have children. Dana Ramkissoon, 55, gave birth to four healthy boys in August thanks to fertility treatment. The cleaner and her husband, Pabla Singh, 38, from Mantua, Italy, spent £10,000 on IVF over ten years before a successful course of treatment in India.
The proud mother said: 'I'm glad we kept trying and never lost hope.' Manav, Manmeet, Radvee and Roshan, now eight months old, were delivered by Caesarean section two months prematurely. Mr Singh said: 'We are very, very happy. Having four babies is just an even bigger blessing.'
