Dr Cachopo to join Music Department for Michaelmas Term

Dr João Pedro Cachopo (Universidade Nova, Lisbon) will be working in the Department of Music from October to the end of December 2012. Dr Cachopo is funded by the Portuguese funding council the FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia) for a Postdoctoral Fellowship to work with Professor Paddison (Department of Music, Durham University) on a collaborative project: 'Towards a "Politics of Opera"'.
