Durham research student selected for ISCM World Music Days

The work "Dhani" by Egidija Medeksaite, a PhD student at the Department of Music, has been selected for the ISCM World Music Days 2013. The work is scored for string quartet, percussion and accordion.

Next year's edition of the ISCM World Music Days will take place in Slovakia and Austria. Egidija Medeksaite is following a PhD programme in Composition with Richard Rijnvos and Sam Hayden.
