About: Although he’s only been shooting for a year, Ed has certainly been bitten by the Archery Bug! His job is to receive delegated jobs from Rob and deal with them accordingly. If you want advice about starting Archery at Durham, he’s your man!

About: Archer, literature lover and radio-host extraordinaire, Alice is the club’s secretary. This means that she has to record minutes at our exec meetings and handle club correspondence, along with miscellaneous paperwork, which she keeps tightly controlled.

About: Our calm, collected and cool treasurer, Jonathon is our resident maths genius. He keeps a keen eye on the club’s finances. Any spending decisions go through him, so if you think the club needs to buy something, check with him first!

About: Rob is probably our oldest member and an experienced recurve archer. His responsibilities cover coaching all new members and the other coaches, as well as dispensing advice to the rest of us, whether or not we want to receive it.

About: Joe likes to tell us that all he knows about archery is that the pointy end goes towards the target. Nevertheless, he has joined the exec with rather wordy title you see above, meaning that it’s partly his job to tell everyone how cool archery is and partly to ensure they consume alcohol (responsibly) in strange costumes.

 Name: Splat III
College: All and None
Course: N/A
About: The position of club mascot is a hereditary title, passed down the generations of one family of purple plush platypuses. Splat III’s father Splat II retired for personal reasons last year. The current holder of the title puts in appearances at the odd practice and most competitions, so be sure to keep an eye out and say hi. Just be sure to show respect.
