International Students
Durham Anthropology welcomes international students. We believe that a diverse student body makes for more interesting and vital programmes. As a discipline, anthropology is inherently international and comparative. Our staff carry out research around the world in a wide range of social, cultural and physical settings, so we understand the challenges of re-locating to new and unusual environments. The academic support provided within the Department is responsive to student needs and we do our best to ensure that every student is given the help they need to do their very best on our degrees.
In Anthropology, we see international students as a key population for ensuring that our degrees remain relevant and fit for the ever changing nature of contemporary societies. So it isn't just that we feel we are particularly well suited to helping international students, but also that we see the contribution of international students as particularly well suited for anthropology degrees!
