I completed a BSc in Psychology in 2007 (University of Portsmouth), before proceeding to complete an MSc in Psychological Research Methods (University of Portsmouth) in 2008.

My research interests fall within the domain of comparative psychology, focusing on the social and cognitive abilities of human and nonhuman primates. Specifically I am interested in social learning mechanisms, cumulative culture and the transmission of cultural traditions, relative numerousness judgements and numerical competence, and theory of mind and consciousness.
