My research interests fall within the domain of comparative psychology, focusing on the social and cognitive abilities of human and nonhuman primates. Specifically I am interested in social learning mechanisms, cumulative culture and the transmission of cultural traditions, relative numerousness judgements and numerical competence, and theory of mind and consciousness.
