Biography
I received my master's degree (Mag.a phil.) with distinction in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Vienna University, Austria, in 2008.
As part of my degree I worked for the Society for Threatened Peoples in Vienna, a human rights organisation campaigning for the rights of ethnic, religious, and indigenous minorities, and spent two terms at SOAS researching my master's dissertation on the relevance of international law to indigenous peoples' land rights with reference to India's Adivasis (or Scheduled Tribes).
I have a particular enthusiasm for the multiple uses of film, photography and the Internet for fieldwork purposes.
