Welcome to St. Aidan's College Boat Club!

St. Aidan's College Boat Club (SACBC) is the largest and most successful society at St. Aidan's College, one of sixteen colleges at the University of Durham in the North-East of England. The club provides the opportunity to row at any level - from complete novice to those more senior. Situated on the picturesque river Wear, the boathouse is a short walk from the college itself. At present, the club has over forty senior members, and each October introduces many newcomers to the sport.

About SACBC...

SACBC competes at many competitions around the local area and further afield, and can boast many victories over the years. Last year saw wins at Tees Small Boats Head, Senate Cup and The Hayward Cup and at regattas including Hexham, Durham City and York Summer. SACBC turned heads when a number of our crews qualified to represent Durham University Boat Club at BUSA Regatta 2008 and outperformed many university crews at the event. This year, we hope to go even further...
