Welcome to St.
Aidan's College Boat Club!
St. Aidan's College Boat Club (SACBC) is the
largest and most successful society at St. Aidan's College, one of sixteen
colleges at the University of Durham in the North-East of England. The club
provides the opportunity to row at any level - from complete novice to those
more senior. Situated on the picturesque river Wear, the boathouse is a short
walk from the college itself. At present, the club has over forty senior
members, and each October introduces many newcomers to the sport.
SACBC competes at many competitions around
the local area and further afield, and can boast many victories over the years.
Last year saw wins at Tees Small Boats Head and The Hayward Cup and at regattas
including Hexham, Durham Regatta and York Summer.
Our club constitution can be found here.
If you are interested in joining SACBC, or
would like to find out more information about the club, please email the Club
Captain, Pascale Metcalf (pascale.metcalf@dur.ac.uk).
