Architects frequently use visualistaions to convey a building's design to stakeholders. This can cause some difficulty in understanding the relationships between the visualisations and plan drawings. This project aims to produce an Augmented Reality system which will bring together 2D plan drawings, virtual 3D representations and physical 3D models, with seamless navigation over all three components.
This project is being undertaken as a research lead MSc, more information and resources will be posted here as they become available.
I am working on this research project as a member of the Technology Enhanced Learning Research Group (TEL). This is a group of researchers working in a wide variety of areas in order to facilitate learning by making use of cutting edge technology.
My academic supervisors for this project are Dr. Andrew Hatch and Professor Liz Burd
