We are grateful to the London Mathematical Society for providing financial support.
Submissions
(closed)
We invite the submission of extended abstracts for presentation at the workshop. These should be up to 10 pages using a 12pt font, and should present new research on any aspect of algorithms and complexity. For the reviewing process, please prepare a PostScript or PDF file and email as an attachment to acid.2006@durham.ac.uk. After submission you should receive an acknowledgment that your paper was successfully received within two working days. Accepted extended abstracts will form the Workshop Proceedings which will be published in the "Texts in Algorithmics" series of College Publications (formerly KCL publications). Selected authors will later be invited to submit full paper versions for a special volume of the Journal of Discrete Algorithms.
The submission
deadline
for extended abstracts was 5 June 2006.
Submission deadline for short abstracts was 5 July 2006.
Registration
The
standard package costs £190 and includes two night accommodation
(Monday, 18 Sep and Tuesday, 19 Sep) in a single en-suite room, all
meals from lunch on the 18th to breakfast on the 20th, and the workshop
fee.
To register for the workshop please fill in this form (plain

before 1 September 2006. If you need anything different from the

request on the form.
Payment should be made by cheque or cash upon arrival. All payments must be in pounds sterling.
Funding
We have funding available to waive the registration fees

accommodation costs of a limited number of UK-based
research
students from mathematics departments. Priority will be
given to authors of extended
abstracts.
