Faculty Support

The Academic Support Office is responsible for:

• managing the faculty level of all quality management processes (for taught and research degrees);
• managing the University's student progress processes for postgraduate students (such as concessions, appeals, Academic Progress Notices), and the research degree examination process;
• and supporting senior faculty officers in the operation of the Department Strategic Planning Process; servicing faculty boards; and administering faculty-level quality assurance procedures.

The Academic Support Office has three faculty teams, each of which is led by an Assistant Registrar who takes the lead on all postgraduate issues in their faculty. These teams also include a Faculty Support Officer whose primary responsibility is for undergraduate matters, and a number of administrative staff who support the Assistant Registrars and Facutly Support Officers.
