Student Immigration and Financial Support Office (SIFSO)

The Student Immigration and Financial Support Office is based at Durham City Campus and has dedicated teams providing students and staff with support in both areas of responsibility:

Immigration

• Provide advice for international students looking to enter or extend their leave to remain in the UK to study.
• Work with Departments across the University to ensure compliance with UK Border Agency regulations.

Student Financial Support

Through Colleges, the Student Financial Support Office and Durham Students' Union we provide Durham students with information and guidance on the following:

• Financial support available from the University and other sources
• Help for students in hardship or students wanting to take part in extra-curricular activities
