| Description | In this workshop, participants will give a mini-presentation to the group. This will be video-recorded, providing the speaker and group with an opportunity to discuss the presentation and give constructive feedback. All this will be done in the least threatening but most supportive way possible. Preparation: To participate in this workshop you must prepare a 6 minute presentation. It is up to you whether you use PowerPoint or other visual aids. Your presentation can be on anything. Previous presentations have included everything from Sunderland Football Club to How to Decorate a Christmas Tree. If you decide to present an aspect of your research, remember to pitch it at the level of a non-specialist audience as other participants are unlikely to have subject-specific knowledge of your area of research.
