Combining Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew with Cole Porter's music and lyrics to get an instant success with every cast and audience. This is a play-within-a-play where each cast member's on-stage life is complicated by what is happening off-stage. Kiss Me, Kate played for 1077 performances on Broadway at the New Century Theatre and for 501 performances in London at the Coliseum Theatre. With musical numbers including 'Tom, Dick or Harry', 'Too Darn Hot', 'Brush Up Your Shakespeare' and 'Another Op'nin', Another Show', Kiss Me, Kate is fun, melodious and sophisticated.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be given should a performance be cancelled and no suitable alternative is avaliable. For shows performing in the Assembly rooms, if notice is given at least one hour prior to the show's scheduled starting time, and the tickets are resold, a refund will be given. In all other instances, refunds will be up to the discretion of the production team

The box-office staff reserve the right to release all non-paid, reserved tickets 10 minutes before the scheduled starting time and to release all pre-paid, reserved tickets at the scheduled starting time.

Doors Opening Times

For all Assembly Rooms shows doors open 30 minutes prior to productions posted start time. Please contact the box office for other venues.
