Events and activities

During school holidays and some weekends we run a regular programme of family activities linked to our collections. A summary of forthcoming events is listed below but for more details about these activities, please see the What's On guide for the Oriental Museum and the Old Fulling Mill Museum of Archaeology.

Old Fulling Mill activities

December 2009

Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December - The Ancient Greeks

Take inspiration from ancient Greek architects and make a 3D Pantheon

 

Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December - Dinosaurs

Make a fossil footprint or scary T-Rex to take home

 

Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th December - Christmas activities

Make tree decorations and cards

 

General Information

Advice for parents and caregivers:

  • All activities are drop in unless otherwise stated.
  • All activities are included in the Museum admission price and are generally suitable for children aged 5 to 11.
  • Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
